[ South Sands ISD - $50M+ Project: $4,000,000 Supplement Contract ]
Bustamante took on a $4,000,000 supplemental project with a seventy-five-day schedule for the San Antonio ISD. The supplement contract had these components in the scope of work, which we delivered on time and on budget. We replaced 157 rooftops units, installed 10,500 light fixtures, installed two and a half miles of gas pipe, competed a 15,000 SF renovation of Kindred Elementary school, installed handicap push bar hardware on the doors, converted all bathrooms to ADA compliance which included all plumbing fixtures, bathroom partitions, door hardware, etc.
Bustamante’s role called for our team to work and execute in a crisis mode and finish ahead of schedule. The school district leveraged Bustamante’s skill and will to complete a troubled $50M project, with an improbable victory. Click here to listen to Dennis Terrell’s strong endorsement of Bustamante.

We took on a HVAC supplemental contract as a critical assignment from Webber, a large well respected global company. We supplemented every contractor on this $50M+ high school construction project which enabled Webber to finish just ahead of schedule. Webber was facing the loss of a second Marcos ISD school project valued at $50M if they had not selected Bustamante to turn their delays around. Click here to see Bill’s LinkedIn profile. We did a 265,000 remodel on the 2nd and 3rd floor of this downtown 40 story hotel near the convention center which we completed in 60 days for Turner Townsend. PWI Construction was engaged as the General Contractor to transform the iconic 30-year-old and third-largest hotel in the city. Located in downtown San Antonio steps away from the famous River Walk, PWI renovated the lobby, restaurant, lounge, and retail areas with the addition of the M Club, the redesign of all 1,001 guest rooms and suites. The River Center pays tribute to San Antonio’s vibrant culture while ushering in a contemporary, upscale feel to the landmark hotel.
To accommodate the new restaurant and bar, four lobby escalators were replaced and relocated. The modernized lobby includes new flooring, wall finishes, and updated ADA-compliant restrooms. The guestrooms and suites underwent a dramatic change with scraped ceilings, contemporary flooring and wall treatments, and king rooms featuring new bathrooms and showers. All renovations were completed while the hotel remained open.

Sea Life Center
San Antonio - Samuel Madrigal (832) 879-8865 Mobile SMS
The Sea Life Center was a complex concrete project requiring significant expertise and precision. Bustamante poured 1,200 yards of concrete discharging material supply from 30 cement trucks and two pump trucks with a short window of completion. We were required to begin at 4am and be done by 9am when the Life Center Mall opened up. The complexity of the project with precision work in finishing concrete required sophisticated planning and experience with a high volume of concrete in glass tunneling of this popular entertainment venue.
